"My vision of plastic surgery"

A patient’s motivation to have a plastic surgery operation or an aesthetic medicine procedure is nearly always motivated by a deep intuitive need that tells them such and such a physical defect is stopping them from really being themselves, as their appearance does not match the true way they feel inside.

Our relatives sometimes find it difficult to understand this motivation, which is not dictated by reason but based on a feeling that correcting the defect will improve our well-being.

So, the motivation doesn’t come from how others see us but from our own perception of our appearance and who we feel we are. This consistency between the way we feel and the way we look is what helps us to feel "happy in our own skin".

To achieve this, aesthetic procedures or treatments must have natural results that blend in with areas that haven’t been operated on. A natural result depends on this overall harmony.

For my part, after more than twenty years of carrying out cosmetic treatments on the face and body, I have chosen techniques and treatments that give the most natural results, the least visible signs and the smallest and most discreet scars that are possible.

Therefore, especially when it comes to cosmetic breast surgery, I have created and published a technique called "Round Block" , which means I can treat many different types of sagging breasts or breast hypertrophy by making a single cut around the areola, which is fairly discrete and avoids vertical scars or a sub-mammary fold.

My motivation to use techniques that leave very few signs is the guiding principle behind my treatments for surgery to both the face and body.

Every patient is different. Every patient has a history and personality. When looking for a surgical solution and choosing the right technique, I try to get a good understanding of the individual expectations of each patient that comes to see me. Usually, they are not looking to be transformed but to simply feel more themselves by correcting the physical defect that is out of line with the rest of their face or body.

In addition to the cosmetic improvements, creating this new feeling of harmony has a beneficial effect on personal well-being, self-confidence and the ability to open up to others, who will then accept them as they are.
